Welcome to the Wyoming Chapter
of Clan Sinclair USA.
John & Jacquie Carrico,
Clan Sinclair USA Commissioners for the State of Wyoming,
would like to welcome you.
We are committed to promoting our Scottish Heritage through education.
Clan Sinclair was created, more than twenty years ago by Sinclair/St.Clair/Sinkler descendants with a keen intrest in their heritage.
Members of Clan Sinclair can:
(1) Learn more about their individual family history.
(2) learn about the history of Clan Sinclair.
(3) Celebrate their heritage through participation in Highland Games, special Scottish events such as the Robert Burns dinners and trips to Clan sites in Scotland.
As Commissioners, among other requirements, we must host a clan tent at an approved Celtic Festival and Games in the area which we represent. As the Wyoming Clan Sinclair Commissioners, we had our first official clan tent at the Celtic Festival and Games in Gillette, Wyoming on June 28th. & 29th. 2003 and won the award for Best Clan Tent, which thrilled us no end. We encourage you to attend Celtic Festivals and Games in your home area and talk to the Sinclair Clan Commissioners there (if there is one) about becoming a member of the Clan.
