Welcome to Company I. 3rd. U.S. Volunteer Infantry.
We are a volunteer living history reenactment group based in Casper Wyoming.
We are involved in accurately recreating history of the 1800's with both military and civilian impressions. We perform at many historical locations around Wyoming and at some national events. Our main emphasis is on the late 1860's & early 1870's era along the Oregon Trail in Wyoming. We also do historical presentations for schools and other groups. Our goal is to educate the public about our nation's history in a fun and interactive atmosphere as accurately as possible.
Many of our members have been involved in the filming of movies such as Crazy Horse, Buffalo Girls, Garonamo, Gettysburg, The North & South, Far & Away, Lonesome Dove, Rough Riders, The Postman, Ride with the Devil, and The Patriot, Comanche Warrior & Custer's Plan.

If you are interested in becoming a part of this exciting group or would like more information about us please contact our President Bruce Berst at 307-472-7712 or bdberst@trib.com
