Welcome to Company A. 3rd. U.S. Volunteer Cavalry.
We are a volunteer living history reenactment group based in the Colorado & Wyoming area.
We are also an affiliate of The Frontier Army of the Dakotas.
We are involved in accurately recreating history of the 1800's with both military and civilian impressions. We perform at many historical locations around Wyoming. Colorado &South Dakota and at some national events. Our emphasis is on the 1860's Civil War era
through the 1880's Indian Wars era.
We also do historical presentations for schools and other groups. Our goal is to educate the public about our nation's history in a fun and interactive atmosphere as accurately as possible.
Many of our members have been involved in the filming of movies such as Crazy Horse, Buffalo Girls, Garonamo, Gettysburg, The North & South, Far & Away, Lonesome Dove, Rough Riders, The Postman, Ride with the Devil, and The Patriot, Comanche Warrior & Custer's Plan.
